I'm SO hyped about this and I keep forgetting it's only a few hours away!

Don't forget that tonight is the last regular Buffy episode before the show's big finale next week. (I have no clue why they're billing it as "the last regular blah-blah-blah", but when I post like this I just tend to parrot what I read. )

The slayer gets the scythe, wickedness ensues! :D

Hmmmm... I'm looking forward to it, but I have a bad feeling that UPN is going to force it to be not what Joss intended (see: Firefly).

Oh well... it should be interesting.

But the Angel season (maybe series) finale... damn. THAT was fantastic.

The WB has renewed its vampire series Angel for a full fifth season, with former Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member James Marsters joining the show as Spike, Variety reported.

Excuse me.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

All better.

Sweet. I'd like to see Willow join as well.

Man, I am SURE glad to hear that! I'm a huge Spike fan. :)

I still haven't even finished the first season of Angel on DVD, I sort of want to get the rest of 'em downloaded first so I can see 'em in sequence. (Unless me sister has 'em on tape...come to think of it she JUST might... :D )

I've only seen the first couple of Angel episodes, but I like it.

OK, spoilers ahead.

I'm guessing that Willow turns out to be the last Guardian (Watcher of the Watchers or whatever) and sacrifices herself at the end of the Buffy finale (I know a major character dies, and it's not Buffy or Spike). Allyson Hannigan is too big to be on TV only now.

Judging from the end of the episode tonight, Spike will join Angel as the bad guy in the next season. Good Stuph.

I was going to post up real quick that I taped the show but I ain't watching it for a few hours until me wife gets home. She's a big Buffy fan too and it's an "us" thing. :)

I saw your "SPOILER ALERT", hit the reply button before I could read further, and posted this quicky before I hit the little button and close this window before I get a chance to peek again.

Thanks for the warning, it saved me. :D

Damn I have never seen an episode of buffy. Tried to watch it a couple times but it was to far along to catch up, oh well.

You can get the first three seasons on DVD, and it is an excellent DVD collection!

I was in the same boat, but me sister was kind enough to bum me the DVD sets and then a local station played 2 a day in order from the 1st thru 6th season and me and the wife caught 'em on tape. For the seventh season I got broadband and downloaded all of 'em in time to catch up with the ending. (The Dig once again hugs eMule!)

Great episode!!!!!

Fave line:

Willow: "Well, I guess scythe does matter..."

Fave plot development (don't worry, no spoiler!):

Go Dawnie, go Dawnie; it's your birthday, it's you birthday!

THAT surprised me more than her original appearance on the show!
