I've got C2D E6300 with stock Intel cooler for little more than a year. Temperature in idle is 48*C! In games I have about 70*C! Sometimes it goes to 75 and PC reboot. My E6300 is not overcloed. I clean it and cover him again with Arctic Ceramique but it doesn't help. I remember I had about 30*C 2 months ago. I got good cooling in my PC. Any ideas?

try blowing the dust out of the inside of the case and the heatsink itself. also, reseat the heatsink with some good thermal paste. how many case fans do you have in your case?

It looks like removing old past and puting new helps. Now I have 58 in stress.

Why ceramique though? I know some people think that metallic compunds are dangerous due to chance of electrical shorts but you might find better temps if you use Arctic Silver or similar types.

Also google or youtube applying the thermal paste because you might find that there is a better technique to the one you are using. Lastly, is your fan functioning properly i.e. getting up to full speed?
