Problem with AGP 4x in win xp...

My motherboard supports AGP 4x, and it is enabled. I have a visiontek Geforce 3 that also is AGP 4x. In windows Xp Pro, when i go to display properties, it says that the card is running in AGP 2x.... I cannot find a setting anywhere for it, any ideas were i can find it, or how to get it into 4x???

what mobo are you using? Have you checked your bios? What drivers are you using for your mobo chipset and your video card? What is your social security number? What is the color of your underwear at the current moment?
