Okay, so I want to go strictly Vista 64, but now I can't Delete or Format my other Hard Drive which has XP Pro 32 on it. I've looked all over the web for an answer and haven't found anything. I can't use my WD CD that came with the HDD, because of some driver error. *shrugs*

Anyone know how I can format my other HDD in Vista 64?

Delete the partition.

Delete the partition.

Yeah, Vista won't let you do that.

Believe it or not, I found my answer on YouTube. ;) You have to insert your Vista CD and boot from it, go thru the first couple of steps until you get to where it shows what drives are available for install and select the Advanced options, then select your drive and select Format. I did mess up my BOOTMGR, but after using the Vista CD once again for Repair, all is fine.

i know why, becase your XP partition was the active partition. no windows OS will let you delete, format active partions.
