For the longest time I struggled to find something simple, easy and reliable for making a backup of my system, then I tried 'Image for Windows' By Terabyte.

This software is really great and for the price, no one has a better deal, and as one pc geek to another I just wanted to share this with you, because I'm happy I finally found something! :)

Here's their site and the product:

If you don't believe me that this is a GREAT product then stop in over at Wilder Security Forums to ask them about it... ;)

Acronis TrueImage is a far better product and worth the extra price. The new addin Universal Restore even means you can change motherboard without reinstalling if you have to.

Acronis TrueImage is not a better product, the only thing it has is a name over Terabyte.

There has been bad publicity floating around over the product and company, that is why I went with this product over TrueImage.

Terabyte's Image for Windows is more reliable...

If you check on the Wilder Security Forums, I haven't heard one bad thing about Image for Windows from anyone over there.

There are quite a few nasty things happening with TrueImage: ( Just check out some of those posts):

Check around more forums, you'll see a lot of good things about Acronis. Especially Universal Restore, it's bailed a lot of guys out of trouble.

There's to many bad things for my taste to want to risk messing up anything...

Anyhow I'm a geek been around Acronis since the day it was born, I know them. I just wanted to share a simpler and easier program to use for basic backups, that's more reliable is all...

PEACE

How these programs work with BitLocker (encrypted) drives? How they deal with HW RAID-5 disk arrays?

I think Acronis can actually image Bitlockered drive..
