I know their kids are basically engineered pre-birth to be athletes, and spend their entire youth in state run Olympic training camps, but give me a fooking break.

It is rumored many countries will protest the gymnasts, because it is rumored that some are as young as 12, which means more flexibility.

anyone watching the gymnastics atm? the chinese girl got a ridiculously high score even though she had a mediocre performance. :|

Did you finish watching everything?

After the 2nd apparatus was finished, they caught the event director on the phone. When she hung up the phone, she walked over to the judges WITH AUTHORITY, almost a stomping. She chewed out 2 judges BAD. One looked like Molly Shannon. After she left, the REAL competitors started getting righteous judging. Let's just say the Chinese didn't win ;)

i seen it on the news yesterday. they showed this one girl, she was like 4 feet tall, maybe 11 years old.

Yeah China will win a bunch in the diving and other first week events. They don't win much in the track and field events. They blame it on small hands.

To be fair, they are doing well and winnning the events they have already shown a pedigree for over the last couple of years and there have been no track'n'field events yet, which they are poor at. The US are still on course to top the medal table at the end of the Games. Stop whinging.

To be fair, they are doing well and winnning the events they have already shown a pedigree for over the last couple of years and there have been no track'n'field events yet, which they are poor at. The US are still on course to top the medal table at the end of the Games. Stop whinging.

who's "whinging"? Fair is fair, right? It's a FACT, that a younger person is more flexible, that's WHY they introduced a minimum age. That's the reason they are performing, and winning.
