Crysis is the only game that does not work properly for you on the HDTV?

3DMark Vantage also has scaling issues. It doesn't matter what scaling option I use in the CCC.
Both are DX10 games...

hehe, i found this funny
have fun with ati drivers ;) oh the joy
So I got my card today but I'm not happy with the X2 :( I can't get it to work with my LCD TV. The X2 works flawlessly in Windows and most game, 1:1 pixel mapping is spot on. But Crysis DX10 runs at 1080i 50Hz all the time, scaling doesn't work.
I'll try a few things tonight but if I can't find a solution tonight I'm gonna sell the card, I'm not going to waste my time with ATI drivers when I have a perfectly fine GTX 280 on my table.
Did you try the HDTV Support menu in CCC?

Yes, tested all 50 and 60Hz 1080p modes. My TV's 1:1 pixel mapping somehow doesn't work with 50Hz. It's possible to start Crysis in DX10 in 1080p but as soon as I apply new graphical settings or just start the game it's back to 1080i.
I don't care how fast this card is, this is not acceptable. Ironically, the last ATI card I had (X850PE), also had display problems with my 23" ACD... the card lasted 3 days then I went back to a 6800 Ultra.

Oh well, if you tried everything, I guess you had no choice. Sounds like you prefer Nvidia for your TV out needs.

You're still using a CRT monitor?

Not just for TV out ;)
Man the X2 is such a nice piece of hardware but the drivers are still problematic, too bad :(

I wonder if the X2 behaves differently than the 4870 on the TV? I love my 4870 on my LCD TV. Of course my TV is only 1080i max, so I'm at 720p but it looks awesome. I've been real happy watching movies on this card.
I dumped my 9800GX2 because the TV out was crap. I had to go through so many steps to get the TV out working each time and then switch back to SLI mode and disable the TV.... bleh...
So for MY TV, I prefer the ATI! :)

Yes.
No, but why would you need it? ATI's color it spot-on with no corrections needed. Only Nvidia has washed-out colors.
thats what i been reading i want to get one but i think my corsair hx620 will fail on me! what should i do?!:headexplode:

Sure they do. It's called avivo color. You can change the hue and saturation levels. Works very well. Nvidias colors were not washed out at all with my 8800gt. Looked just as good, if not better as my 4850 I have now. Without the avivo color, ATIs colors looked a tad bland to me. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
