Help to restore a previous .pdf file!!!!

I was working on a fill-able .pdf and I cleared out the text I inputted, then accidentally saved over the existing file. Now I am left with an empty version. I tried the file restore built into vista but it wasn't active before I overwrote the file. Any1 know of any applications to get to the previous version back with all my data inputted?

I'd say you're screwed....I think it would have written over the old file on the hard drive so it's gone. If you had just deleted the file, that would be different because it's still there on the drive, just it doesn't know where it is. So a file recovery program could find it. But I think if you overwrite a file it actually overwrites it rather than deleting the old one and saving the new one somewhere else...

Yes, correct. It was overwritten not just tagged as deleted, so you are screwed.

Unfortunately, I'd say they are correct. I've been there done that trying to find a file for someone before. The only way you might get lucky is if it made a temp file for working with and that was deleted, but I don't think adobe does that.
