448W should be the total system load. So it's quite possible that your PSU will be fine. Just get the card and you'll see first hand. Don't go spending money on suspicion alone.

IIRC, the 620HX has much of its output tied up in the 12V rails. That is the key concern for GPUs, the 12V output.

620hx can output up to 750w btw. The system in my sig is running completely stable of the 620hx so have no fear.

Do you have an old 620hx or a newer one? The old one didn't have an 8-pin wire (and you need it). Old was 2x 6- pin. New one is 2-x 6+2 pin.

Stalker shines in the x2, over 100 FPS with all maxed at 1920x1200 and a high detail mod. I hope Clear Sky runs this great too

Well, I don't have a 620HX but I do have a Seasonic M12 700w, which is not on the ATI approved list of power supplies and my 4870x2 is running just fine.

The 620hx, if I remember correctly, is made by SeaSonic. They made damn good PSUs.

Seasonic is excellent.
