I'm hoping someone can help me out with this...

I just installed the 175.19 whql vista 64bit drivers and when I play TF2 I get a strange graphic anomaly. I can only describe it as a band of horizontal lines that shoot back and forth. It happens at the TF2 splash screen and in game itself. I haven't tried any other games because basically all I play now a days is tf2.

I have tried using driver cleaner before installing drivers, tried setting SLI on and off, tried vsync on and off, tried various other settings on and off, with and without nhancer.

Also, The only driver that this does not have this happen is 163.75.

I have a pair of 8600gts video cards in sli mode, Vista 64 bit ultimate ed.,
directx 9.0c

Here are a couple avi videos of what I am talking about. Its poor quality video but you can see it if you look close.

I think a lot of people on this forum have moved on to the newer 177.83 or 177.89 drivers. Since you're experiencing problems w/175.19 perhaps you should do the same. The 177.83's are packaged with the new PhysX drivers.

In case anyone is interested...

It turns out that the problem I was having was caused by heat. I moved my computer around to allow more air flow and re-loaded the 175.19 whql drivers and the problem went away.
