were is the memory remapping feature on the above mb i have looked in the bios and can not see it unless it is named somthing else

yea looked there not there. this option must only enable when you have 8gb . also i think that is an asus bios it is showing peg on that screen

I think to access memory timings you have to press Alt F1 or Alt F11, can't remember which.

thats it i was trying to remember that one you have to do it in pnp/pci in bios . all i need is the keystroke

CTRL+F1 on the main BIOS screen allows you to access advanced timings, etc.
