This is my first time using a forum be easy on me. I just built me
a computer that I would like to overclock,but I don't know anything
about it. I bought a Antec P-190 Has 1200 watt power supply. I install
a Asus P5K3-deluxe wifi motherboard with a Q6700 quad cpu and
8600gt 512mb video card, 2 GB Muskin 1066 memory. going to get 2 more sticks
next month. cpu runs at 18c. Can any give me step by step instructions on how
to O/C it to 3.6.Thanks.

:spam2: ? Unless he types this message in notepad and copy-pastes it in to the forum resulting in weird short lines of text.
I'm calling BS on it anyways.....Q6700 at 18C? Right. Is your computer encased in ice?
*Waits for another one post wonder to provide solution...*
EDIT: And my sincerest apologies if this is a legitimate post...

Well it was probably a good thing to join overclock.net anyway because they would probably be more interested in helping you. There are plenty of people here that know how to overclock but if I was going to do something like this for the first time why would you come here for advice as a new member?
Also, there's a sticky right there at the top of this forum that has lots of very useful information about overclocking with a nforce motherboard with Core 2 Duo and a lot of the info in there would apply to any Intel CPU.
