Crysis Warhead Goes Gold!

(1) Crytek cannot afford to continually patch a game if it did not sell as well as expected. Crytek spent a lot of money for this PC title, something that is unheard of.

(2) EA (i.e.-the publisher) controls patches, and if/when they get released usually.


spent alot on game then can not afford patches sounds like a very Badley run company. it only sold bad due to the very high specs needed to run on first release there was that many people takeing game back to shops due to this it was unheard of :( never seen a company pulling patches like crytek did

Sounds promising there's been a few disappointing titles lately in my opinion so I really hope this isn't one of them. Mercs 2 sounds like a little bit of a letdown and in my opinion Spore is a big let down though I may be in the minority with that opinion.

Crysis Warhead (and the original Crysis) will be on steam soon. It doesn't have a date but I'll assume its next week like the retail release.

You might want to check the new release at the official website it says the 16th in US and 12th over seas.
