'MSI, GeForce FX 5900' that looks pretty nice actually. I like that it's single-slot, and the heat-spreader is definetly unique

the only thing that left us to do with it is, plug it in! :D
(hoo yeah and get the $$$ for it :rofl)

I want that baby too, but the 256MB 5900 is long like a mofo...

Am I seeing things, or does it have a fan on the front and back? That might make things a little loud.

It looks okay, but I actually prefer the design of nVidia's reference cooler - I must admit I think it's the sexiest reference design for a video card I've seen. :p

it's much more OC (yes there is an extra fan ) it isn't loud those fans are the same as are being used on the leadtek (remember Ti4600 2fans)

Infact all video cards take up 2 slots when you think about it. The FX 5900Ultra take 2 up but it's fans the size of a single slot. We all and everyone should leave a space between the video card and other PCI cards.

the final ultra should take 1 slot same thing goes for this one (above).

That card must weigh a ton.

I would also prefer it without a red PCB

Where did all of the capacitors go?

They will be on the green spots I presume.

Yeah, I have a Hercules GF2 GTS from years ago, and it's still the best looking card I have (all blue).

Umm what green spots? The same thing happened with the picture of the 5900U in that preliminary benchmark preview, all of the capacitors suddenly disappeared and were replaced with those black things, then when the card came out the capacitors came back

Have to admit, that desgin looks pritty cool, and the fan on the back would be a first.

but dose it really do anything? dose it really matter!

so many questions : O

Edit-----------

It also seems that card makers have steped away from redesigning the refrecne board to tweak some extra preformce, to makeing a Cool looking flashey card!!!!!

Eg, the ramsinks on the herc board looks more decrotive than functional, but it dose look good cant agruge on that.

How would one get hold of the reference NV35 board with the dawn eye sticker on the HSF?

That's a cool design. :)

Such a damn shame it has a fan on the back too.... I think a big massive heatsink on the back would be better than a fan on the back. If so, it would probably be the most quiet NV35 solution I've seen thus far.

I dont care about the looks, all I care is how well it o/c's :afro:
I think the big ass heatsink is pretty bad, since the hot air is blocked near the memory/core, but that's just speculation :)
