Alchamy And Xfi Edition

So what is the difference between the 2?

I see 2 versions on the xfi driver section and the Alchamy software has an update for this month but also their is the Xfi edition so with the Fatlity card i have, should i use the newer version or the Xfi edition which is a couple on months older?

Use the newer one. They merged the X-Fi and Audigy 2 versions to make the new Alchemy.

I was thinking that when i saw the 2 so good.

I noticed with the Alchamy when i have Call Of Duty 2 in the right side for games the game loads the splash screen and than stops responding. Is this ok or its not really a supported game?

Check the alchemy website for the game compatibility list. If a game uses software-only sound then it isn't compatible with Alchemy, and if it uses OpenAL already, Alchemy shouldn't be needed.

If the game is supported and its still crashing, you may need to adjust some of the buffer settings in Alchemy. The compatibility list should give the correct settings for each game.
