Adds support for 2-way NVIDIA SLI technology with GeForce GTX 200-series GPUs on Intel® D5400XS motherboards.

Now this is interesting. In Maximum PC's Dream Machine issue, they didn't use the GTX 280 because SLI was not supported on this board.

Thanks for the heads up. Will download these when I get home tonight.

D5400XS is the Skulltrail board, they obviously did something wrong. Since there has been few reviews around the web with SLI tested on D5400XS.

Driver Heaven had partically good review, with 3-SLI GTX 280 beating 4870X2 CF (4 GPU) in every test.

Read about it here

Hmm...no OpenGL 3 yet.

I'll still give these a shot! Nice boost for BioShock DX10.

There are specific laptop commands to sort that.
I have them pretty well covered in the modded INFs.
HKR,, RMMaintainDevs, %REG_DWORD%, 1
Normally fixes the resume resolution prob, not found in desktop INFs.

That's what I was looking at. But it seems to be only in single GPU. I will have to use FRAPS and see if it's any different in SLI.

nvidia support is not ****ty, sony support is

it is sony responsibility to get the driver from nvidia mod it work correctly with their specific notebooks.

ATi doesn't give drivers for their mobility products either

Deskptop cards are based on nVidia reference models and nV can pretty safely rely on all drivers behaving the same for all the same GPU's

Notebooks are a different kettle of fish, nV has very little control.
MxM hasn't really taken of, and most OEM's make their own versions.
Hence a driver will not always work as it should for all OEM's.
Also the Video BIOS's are all different to allow for all the different OEM setups what the video does.
bla bla bla.

Anywho, the modded INFs work for the majority of people I cannot allow for everything to work all of the time as it would mean an INF larger than the driver :)

Um don't own a Sony, haven't owned one in acouple months... And yes their laptop driver support is crappy.

I have a Gateway P6831 FX which has a 8800M GTS.

Are the PhysX demos (the ones in the control panel) non-functional for anyone else?

If I try to run any of them they give me: "Runtime Error 1511- Display cannot be created due to invalid function parameters at line 0"

They all worked for me on 177.83. This makes me wonder whether PhysX accelration is working at all with these drivers.

They're working fine for me, GTX280 as display, 8800GTS 320mb for PhysX, intel chipset.
