hi guys, first time i'm using drivers from nvidia. u see i'm using slackware 9 now and running the 2.4.20 linux kernal. I'm gonna get this chip tomorrow and I was wondering which driver should i download. Coz i'm a little unfamaliar and lost in the nvidia linux drivers website. so can anyone pls help me and tell me which driver should i get for my system(linux IA32? IA64? AMD64?)??? i'm using an intel pentium 4 processor btw. Thanks! ;)
this is as quoted by alien in an earlier post....so like many others you'd download the ia32 driver.
- Linux Intel Architecture 32bit CPU : most models (also 32bit AMD CPU)
- Linux Intel Architecture 64bit CPU : very pricy 64bit CPU; very doubtly that you have that in your possesion
- Linux AMD architecture 64bit CPU : less pricy 64bit CPU; also very doubtly that you have that in your possesion
- FreeBSD is a unix derived system ; very doubtly that you have such a system in your possesion - nForce Drivers : if you have a nForce Chipset driver, you should go there, i think that these are exclusively chipsets on the mobo..
