Problem with task manager

I have windows Ultimate and every time i open task manager i get a button on the bottom that says "service or services" some thing like that but i dont see the "End Task or any other buttons i notice it when i saw my friends PC and his had all the buttons that i am talking about any help would be appreciated

Go to the "applications" tab, look down at the lower right-hand corner. You should see the end task button.

And try using some punctuation...:)
