Hey guys,

I recently bought the Klipsch 5.1's, and have a bit of a dilemma...

I'm currently using cardboard boxes to prop up the rear speakers, and wouldn't mind doing something a little better...When I was @ Best Buy the other day, they had some speaker stands, but they looked real cheap _and_ they were charging like $100 per!

Does anybody know of a better solution? Mounting them on the walls isn't an option, unfortunately...The walls are too far behind where I'm currently sitting, so I really need stands.

Head over to uBid and go to the "Cunsumer Electronics \ High End Room \ High End Room Accessories" section. You can usually find good speaker stands for under $10-15!

Use a high back chair. Buy a metal strap from Home Depot etc... for about $1 - $2, bend it to wrap the top of the chair and attach the speakers. I have done this for a few years now. Great always correct rear seperation with swival chairs. Out of sight, out of mind. The best solution.
