Is this a good board?? how is it compared to the geforce4 ti4200?? Better in games like HL2 and doom3 ??

Just with DX9 capability. Seems like ok card. Never heard of the vendor tho.

You may want to consider a 5600 Ultra card. Its a bit more expensive but a better performer. The longer you can wait the lower the price will get too :)

you can get a ti4200 or a radeon9500 pro and both are way faster
