Nice! Looks like the performance improvements weren't imaginary after all :D. Hopefully it will sell well enough for Crytek to continue making PC exclusives.

Even if Crysis sold very, very well, Crytek would still probably want to go multiplatform, as they've seen COD4, Halo 3, and other games sell much better though they had, in some people's minds, less to offer.

Wow I really was sceptic about Warhead but it's so cheap that I really want to buy it. AAA title for $30 : O

I'm looking forward to seeing some performance numbers and screenshots from this game at full details. It seems odd that they were able to speed the game up so much while actually making it look better. A more technical review would be really interesting.

I agree. I was totally expecting a graphical downgrade. I thought textures, particles, and geometry were going to take a hit in order to get performance up. I would REALLY like to know what they did.

the guy in the video review told that if you are looking for the best graphics then crysis warhead ....
however i prefer a game playable than one not so welcome warhead !!

it would be interesting to see a Crysis patch that actually implements these
new features and performance increase into the original Crysis !!!

but as if Crytek would ever do that :(

Someone might port the original levels to the new engine. As long as you had to supply the original game's data files it'd probably be legal too.

Ive been playing games for over 20 years and played a LOT of games,
In that time I haven't enjoyed a game more than Crysis which Ive been playing solidly since release.
I look forward to playing Warhead.

Maybe these people are referring to MP, Apparently that is ****.

looks like i did a great upgrade when i got this new GFX and CPu and stuff.

and do i ever wanna play warhead think all the goodies the CCC crew can do with warhead if you look at crysis and now warhead.

there is a huge difference there, and so more between CCC 2.21 and vanilla crysis think warhead with those settings yummy.
so bring it on i want some warhead to launch muahahahahaa
