DonahimHaber (http://forum.donanimhaber.com/m_26474492/tm.htm) a Turkish hardware sides published AMD marketing slides for upcoming ATI 4850 x2 graphic card. Looks like the MSRP is $399 and slides shows the card is 10 - 30% faster than GTX 280.
The card should be available by the of September

This will be a nice card at a good price point.

Crysis benchmarks conveniently left out... why oh why does ATI seem to scale so bad on Crysis, did they fix the scaling and drivers for the 4870 x2?

Crysis is not coveniently left out and yes with the 8.8 or the 8.9 betas scaling is much better with the 4870X2, why dont you take a look at some of Xion X2's bench marks here on this forum and see it for yourself.

I'm sure this will be a great card, but I can't help but wonder if it will really be as strong as a GTX 280, will it really play as smooth? It would be great if it does perform in that class. Looking forward to the reviews.
