Crossfire or x2 not working in Clear Sky?

They're using the 8.8s. I would try the new 8.9 betas before coming to the conclusion that Crossfire is borked with this game.

Didn't PC Games & Hardware get better results with the X2 than any other card on that game?

I think there must be something wrong with Catalyst drivers (I'm using 8.9 betas, 8.53 driver) and sometimes framerate is less than half (similar to yours), but it's corrected if I exit the game, or reboot the computer.

EDIT: After more testing, it looks like the problems is FSAA. I think when you change AA settings it does not apply until you restart the game, so that would explain my confusing results. Here's an screenshot similar to your first one, I'm gettint around 40 fps here with everything maxed and a bit of AA (slider on second position). Mine has been captured after some time wandering around, so daytime its a bit later (that's why light looks different).

Well the opening scene is extremely demanding, especially with lots of sun shafts!
Even without AA I get around 13-20 FPS with a GTX 280 depending on where I look.

Apart from the sunrise parts performance is very good. Maybe ATI suffers from those sun shaft performance problems as well as nV.

Without AA it runs really well, lowest fps is around 45 fps, when looking at the guys around the fire. It's on DirectX10 enhanced lightning. When I look at the base entrance, it goes up to 85 fps. I really love this card. Screenshots below

Works fine here. I turned cat ai off to test: 29 fps. Turned it back on, restarted game, same spot: 59fps.
