Zune 3.0 software is out (plus firmware update)

maybe i'm doing something wrong. When you guys plug your zune in do you see it in my computer? My zune software detects the device and I'm able to sync files but I never see it in my computer. Running vista ultimate and thanks for the info necro

zune won't show, just like ipod.

ms is trying to create a brand name, just like ipod. not just another generic mp3 player.

there is a hack that will enable it to show in my computer, look on zunescene for it.

Ok. The more I listen to this thing and the more I play with it, the more I like it. The ability to listen to music while playing that addictive little Space Shooter game they just added in 3.1 is nice too.

wtf i just updated the software, but when i try to connect my zune the program crashes.

Update 3.1 was crashing for me as well. I had to delete content of DRM folder, and it worked again.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\

Make a backup before deleting!!

It was crashing on Indiv01_64.key file. I deleted complete DRM folder content, and it works great now. I had no WMA DRM protected files though.
