Clear Sky performs great once you turn down the 'godrays' quality a notch, it will look 99% identical and will be much faster

I tried medium and no go. Still crap. My mate with the 4850 cant play the game with the higher quality lighting at all and it looks worse than the original when he turns it off. Something's gotta be wrong.

Anyway this monitor has two stuck pixels. Looks like it's back to the TV while I get a replacement :(

Good to hear the card is working properly for you now.
It's a real shame that it lacks proper HDTV support for games. The X2 is such a great card but it's not an option for me right now...

I've tried GRID and Oblivion on my 42" 1080p Toshiba, and they work fine and display at 1080p. Haven't tried Crysis yet.

I have to switch off CrossfireX, though. I get flickering in the picture on my HD if I keep it enabled.

I'd assume ATI is working on this as it's been mentioned a few times over at Rage.

DX9 games were fine here as well. DX10 was buggy at 1080p on my TV....
Enjoy your new TV! Are you using it as your primary PC screen?

I'm not using it as primary right now since it has an issue with CFX enabled.

GRID is amazing on it, though. :)

I've finally got crysis running the way I expected it to, or even better.

I'm using the xconfig which I really like the look of besides the oversaturation of some of the colours (water especially), reminds me of FarCry. i'll have to change the ingame colour settings I guess. Other than that I love the altered ToD and realistic dramatic shadows. Performance is between 60 (v-sync) to 30 FPS at 1920x1200 in general with the highest quality setting for xconfig (veryhigh) but still drops into the 20s in very intense situations but I can handle that. It's a different game at over 40FPS, that's for sure.

I do miss my TV for some games, and can understand why it would be better for racing games. I just need a good setup on my couch.

I would try using ATI tool to clock it back to the stock speeds. I am assuming you use ATI tool for ATI cards, haven't had one since my 9600 so I am not entirely sure.
