Just did the first mission and it's great so far. Lots of action but it's still possible to sneak around and play it the stealthy way ;)

Performance is very good at 1080p, DX9 Gamer (High). It's now possible to use the Enthusiast (Very High) setting in DX9 as well but I'm not sure if it's really the same as in DX10.
Here are a few shots using a Gamer-Enthusiast mix in DX9, performance was around 27-35 FPS in that area.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Bin64 folder anymore. Maybe I missed something during the installation... Do you guys still have the 64-Bit folder/exe?
And there is no GPU/CPU benchmark...

No 64-Bit, really? What a shame :(

Just copied over the autoexec. Worked like a charm. In my opinion, looks better than DX9 Enthusiast -- plus lets you customize things to your liking. Performance has been fantastic thus far in Dx9. I am getting anywhere from 30-50fps depending on whats going on. I really am enjoying the game so far, the TOD settings seem fantastic. I can't wait until Friday and I get my 4870x2 on my main rig.

Well, I just installed the game and I have only run up the first level a couple of feet, but the performance (all enthusiast - same as very high Crysis) is actually worse than Crysis Very High (I kind of expected this though, due to the new global ambient lighting and such).

I haven't touched the settings yet but I'm sure with some tweaking I could get a solid 30fps with little image quality lost.

Mh, that didn't work for me. With the LVL-5 CCC 2.21 config, even the main menu doesn't work properly for me anymore. Some menu point don't react to mouse clicks :o
I guess I'll have to try it again.

Yeah the 4870X2 is great for Crysis, especially with AA enabled. Too bad I had to sell mine because of scaling issues with my HDTV.

Hmm, impressive. Unfortunately my main computer decided to casue trouble today just after I bought a copy of Warhead. Installed game on a second machine with a 7600 GT.

I'm still impressed as I seem to get out higher settings than with the original Crysis. I expect Warhead to become more demanding as the game continues. But at 800x600 I was able to set shaders, Motion Blur and water to "Gamer" and Object quality/Shadow quality to "Mainstream", the rest on minimum. I'm really enjoying this even at these "low" settings.


I can't wait to play the game at my main computer though.

Performance is really nice in Warhead. It's not easy to compare it to Crysis (different levels, no benchmarks) but it performs really good!
I'm playing at 1080p, 2x AA and Gamer/Enthusiast mix (everything on Gamer except Texture, Objects, Vol Effects, Post Processing and Water on Enthusiast) and it's very playable at those settings!

I can only speak for the first two levels but it's definitely more action packed. There are constantly enemies around you, vehicles ready to drive and also quite a few choppers in the air.

The gameplay is much quicker. Less time for thinking about different approaches. The game is just much faster-paced in general.
