Hello, I've got a 140M on a Lenovo laptop. I realize this is not a gaming card, nor is is capable of running the latest stuff, but I've been having odd problems.
I noticed that with both Max Payne(last level) and Giants:Citizen Kabuto(any areas), major graphical stuttering happens. Disabling Hardware T&L and using Software T&L in the game's config fixes this issue.
Is this a bug with the driver? Hardware? Is anybody else having similar issues with this card? These are both almost 10 year old games, and going by requirements should run smoothly on this card, even though it's not meant for gaming.
Also, oddly enough, these games exhibit exactly the same issue under Wine in Linux, on the same laptop, and can be fixed in exactly the same way, by disabling HW T&L. Does this mean it's a hardware problem?
