I recently purchased a Visiontek Geforce 4 Ti 4600G. Does anyone know what the difference is between the "G" model and the regular 4600? Thanks for the help.

Doesn't visiontek make ati cards now?

Yeah, Visiontek makes ATI based cards now. Anyone else have any "helpful" opinions on the matter?

Gateway. It's an OEM card made by Visiontek for Gateway. It has the same clock speeds and unless they changed it recently then the only difference was the video input is missing that the retail version had.

I'm a tech for Gateway and I have one myself...and have installed tons of them.

Hope that helps :)

Thank you, Xav. I am glad the only difference is video input because it is a feature I am not going to use. I purchased this card for $130 and was hoping that I did not get ripped off. The seller could not tell me much about it, but I thought it was a steal for a Ti4600. Have you been happy with yours? Any problems? Thanks again.

Welcome :) I think ya got a good deal too. I've had mine since the 4600 came out and it's been rock solid..and looks great.

Enjoy your new purchase!
