Coolbits is sleeping with the fishes.I've noticed, but I had hoped for it to work instead of running another app. Oh well.

DV is broken on these.

I also got the same game crash in Mass Effect I've gotten with every driver after 177.41 (crash relating to matrix something or other). Back to 177.41 for me. Don't know what's up with Nvidia's driver team lately (actually longer than lately).

Digital Vibrance works but something weird, slider works only for 3 levels %33 - %66 - %100 and effect barely noticible.
Flat panel scaling still doesn't work :thumbdwn:

Warhead performance looks same as 177.92.

Works fine with the software that i use :)

Nvidia says that they made major Optimizations for the single CPU and SLI systems with this and the PhysX driver is installed by default...
They also made some fixes and solved some compatibility issues.

All seems fine here so far, DV don't reset back to 100% after every re-boot like it did with the v177.92's!

Keeper's so far for me, only played cod4 all good.

They seem pretty good to me, as well, except Digital Vibrance is borked. I can only select 0, 33, 66 and 100% and can't tell any difference between them. Other than that...

Hmm, that's weird, my DV seems fine ... i got it set to 50% ... i can set and apply mine to anywhere between the 0% & 100%, it saves fine and its very noticeable visually.

This driver has a big problem.
As soon as I watch a windowed video or TV on desktop-2D (400/300 MHz) this driver switches to 3D (640/1150 MHz).

Not so the 177.41.

I' ve posted that strange behaviour already before but no one except me seems to suffer from that issue.:o

This happens with all drivers after the 177.41s: 177.79s,177.83,92s,98s etc etc. Everybody has this... The drivers are very sensitive to any type of work. Even Steam and Internet Explorer drive the clocks up... :)

I can also only select 33/66/100 and don't notice a diff with digital vibrance. I did install over the older drivers I had, didn't do the drivercleaner method. Also may be an issue with certain models.

Thank You for Your reply. It helps me knowing it's a common driver issue.

Even if everybody has it in my view it's none the less a bug. I cannot imagine that the card working like a horse for no reason is a functional feature.
You have to pay for extra electricity and the lifespan of the card may be reduced.

I also noticed something in Crysis Warhead during the part where you're traveling on top of the train doing all the shooting. With these drivers, this whole area had a big performance hit for some reason, bogged down pretty bad (the only part in Warhead that was like this). With the 177.41 in this same area, it was nice a smooth.

I've gone back to 177.92 for now.
