Yeah, you should be able to get a 260GTX for right around $250 from newegg or tigerdirect depending on the model you get.

HELL YEA. That is an insanely good price. Jump on it before the free shipping goes away or something!

what if? is two 8800GTX faster than one 260GTX?

so i found something cool! new 8800GTX for $130 + 450w VGA power supply adapter.

since 600w is not enough to run two 8800GTX.. there's a Thermaltake vga power supply

all together it will cost me $216

That EVGA is a good deal. Grab it and OC to about 660-700, or the best you can get :)

I moved from an overclocked 8800GTX to my overclocked GTX 260. I don't regret it one bit. I game @ 1920x with filtering.

i'll wait a lil more// the price is not gonna go up anyway.

I went from a 8800 GT 512MB that i had overclocked/bios flashed to 702MHz clock core/(cant remember the shader speeds)/2000MHz memory, It was/is a great card, i bought this GTX 260, overclocked it to 702MHz/1404MHz/1125MHz and it fly's, ... Wipes the floor with with my older GT with great temps also, a mate of mine is just building a new gaming rig, he was going to buy a 8800 GT 512MB for £140 with stock clock speeds so i sold him my 8800 GT 512MB for £80 ... we both got a good deal IMO.
