thx but how to know the difference between the two? is there any physical diff between them? i ask because i have a set of wires labeled as TIA/EIA-568-B.2-2001, i think it is the normal cat5 am i right?

by that label, i'm not sure.

every network cable i seen, on the actual cable it will say what it is.

yeah you're right, it is Cat5 UTP.. The label has been worn out so it wasn’t clear, ttok some time to decipher it lol
