Guys, does anyone know how to get rid of this blue stuff? It's very annoying, it happens when I maximize the video during DVD playback...

Thanks,
Tony.

What dvd player are you using, and have you tried others?

I'm using PowerDVD, I don't get it in Media Player, but also see the border when converting a video using ConvertXtoDVD... Didn't post the player, since I thought it was doing it everywhere... :(

Try turning off your LCARS interface:

Thanks Bob but I'm not really looking for an alternative DVD player, just to fix that specific problem...

Its an odd thing to happen. There's a setting in Vista Media Center that lets you change the colour of the background. If you have it then you could always try changing that and see if it makes a difference, but you problem isn't really like that because it looks more like corruption. Try re-installing whatever codecs you're using.

have you messed around with powerdvd settings?

try turning off stuff like purevideo, turn off deinterlacing, turn off something called clearread

npras42, powerdvd uses it's own codecs

I never had blue borders, but PDVD once stared giving a picture with the colors all mixed up, and reinstalling the player solved it.

Messing around didn't fix it, I'll try a reinstall. Nothing to lose I guess. :)

It's not doing it with a newer version... So I'm weighing my options... :)
