View Full Version : 16000 on 3D Mark 2005 via AGP proves that there was never a need for PCI-E 1.0
The moment anyone cares about 3Dmark is when i auto-call who gives a ****.
1: AGP supported by Carl AS Rock (nana2) Weathers and 512 mb :clap:HD 3850 does indeed run Crysis flawlessly on 1024 x 768 resolution.
2: 3D Mark 2005 is the AGP of 3d Mark and regardless my AGP(lee) is currently DOMINATING PCI-E 7800, even with SLI, and is equal to most single card PCI-E 8800 generation solutions. Back when the 8800 PCI-E cards were first released you all were saying you had the superior product, but AGP has now proven this was not the case.
3: The only thing that matters is downstrean, and downstream AGP bus DOMINATES, the argument that there shouldn't be high end cards for AGP because AGP doesn't have the capability is as that English car guy always says, absolute rubbish! The HD 3850, Core 2 Duo (French) & Carl AS Rock Weathers offers full capability for AGP, and the real reason there are currently no HD 4870 cards is because the political & social elite of PCI-E are jealous of AGP and don't want it's superiority to show. That said, in a year or two there will be an AGP 4870 card and AGP will then be shown to be on par with the PCI-E GTX 260 & 280 generation.
you must be kidding hahahaahahah my ULTRA 8800 scores 16900 points in 3dmark06 and you got 16000 in 05 bha you are a loser....YOU ARE A BIG BIG MAN STOP KIDDING HAHAHAHAHA

Now I realized I only need to know one thing before I die. What is a French Core 2 Duo??

Good ole *****in' Fast 3d, still using the DOMINANT PCI bus.
So much better than AGP ever was.

Wow, the uberputer. We should erect a shrine in your honor.
who remembers the geforce 5950FX 256MB AGP? that was the king before Sharder Model 2.0/DX9c came out. Any game i fed it would be instantly devoured and digested 100s of frames per second. Doom 3 and Quake 4 were the latest games i ran on this card and it performed flawlessly on Ultra. AGP will come back and then PCI will replace it then back again. Nothing in PC world is dead just refined.

Technically, I think ISA was the first "true" I/O bus, though I know STD bus came before it.
ISA was just the first one to be the true mainstream widely used "industry standard" bus. Hence me seeing ISA as the first "real" bus.
