I bought an EVGA GTX260 locally this weekend, but had to return it becuase it died when I fired up the first game. So now I'm going to order one for next weekend, but I'm wondering what the best bang for my buck would be.
So far I think I'm going to go for a GTX260 core 216. Would that be the way to go? I can get the superclocked one for an extra $9, but unless the superclocked ones are binned higher there is no point. Anybody know if they are?
Also wat kind of clocks are people hitting with these? If I can get a 216 model and hit 650MHz I bet that would be close to GTX280 performance.
Any comments or advice? Thanks!
