Cant imaging that's normal! cant remember my exact fps but i know its a lot more than 30 and i play with full in game settings and 1920x1440 res.

What driver you using?

Sounds a little odd.
I play at 1920x1200 with everything maxed, including the 16x AA config tweak. Never drops below 67 FPS (I have capped FPS to 65)

those maps are a bit more heavy..maybe the gpu doesn't have enuf power?

I haven't played the whole game through and that FPS seems low. A while back I tried a custom time demo provided by NvNews user Weeds. Supposedly it is the same demo TheTechreport runs. Results stock and overclocked are below.

Call of Duty 4
Timedemo provided by NvNews user "Weeds"

All tests 4xAA|16xAF All enabled Texture options "Extra"

Stock Speed 575|2000:

1920x = 62.9FPS

1680x = 70.9FPS
http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/1192/codstock1680xhx0.jpg

Overclocked 730|2600:

1920x = 72.1FPS
http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/823/cod4oc1920xlg0.jpg
1680x = 80.0FPS
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/2968/cod4oc1680xct0.jpg

I've had zero issues with the game maxed out @ 1920x with 4xAA|16xAF on a single GTX 260. I am not sure what's going on with your FPS.

so, wait, if you guys load up creek, and just walk around about the map, there is no point where you get 30-40 fps?
hmm, i gotta get to the bottom of this then.

Nope solid 60 with vsync on.

this is with fov set to 80, vsync forced off, and texture filtering set to trilinear. it seems to be better with texture filtering set to auto, but i think it might be looking worse. everything else set to its highest setting. multi gpu off also.
i dont suppose any of that does anything, does it?
or would anyone know a cause or solution to this?
ill try a reinstall over the weekend.

Grim, your not running TRSSAA are you? Those three maps are heavy on alphas and TRSSAA takes a large hit. A couple examples:

2048x1536
max in game settings

1.4xTRMSAA Creek_____1.4xTRSSAA Creek

yes, i was using it.
turning it to multisampling from supersampling led to me being at 91 fps throughout most of the map (the cap) vs dipping into the 30's at times.
so, yea, my problem is officially resolved now.
