I hear the GTX280's replacement (GT212) is Q1 '09 ... and this week we'll see nvidia's 55nm revision of the GTX280.

Hints? Advice? Ideas? Punch and pie?

I don't think Google will tell me where you heard this...

There are dozens of rumors floating around the net, I wanted to know why you picked this one to believe.

BTW, Google is my friend, yes. I try not to bother them every time I need something though. I'm afraid they'll get all clingy and end up calling me at odd hours and asking me to come over and play Guitar Hero.
