Anyone else heard of this game?

Its a classic point and click style adventure game designed by Bill Tiller, who was involved in Lucas Arts titles like The Dig and The Curse of Monkey Island.

The screen shots I've seen are really something. It has a definite old-school Lucas Arts feel to it, but the mix of 3D models and insanely-detailed hand-drawn scenery is really impressive.

Its scheduled to be released in the US and Europe this month at a reasonable price tag of $29.99 USD. I'm looking forward to reviews of this. I doubt we'll ever see a repeat of the classic Lucas Arts adventure era, but this looks very promising on its own.

I don't know. Amazon, Gamestop and GoGamer all have it scheduled for release on different dates within the next two weeks.

I looked around, all I can find is

31/10/2008 EU
November 2008 US

Probably no local distributor here so no AU release. ::(:

From Autumn Moon's website

Hi All Bill Tiller here,
Yes the game will be out very soon and relay depends on how quickly the game can be manufactured and shipped for the in store date, but it still could be Halloween. The hold up is making sure our low-end machines have good video performance for our FMVs. We want to make the FMV viewing experience a good one for those players who don’t have the latest high-end machines. That should be addressed soon, probably in the next ten days. But after that I don’t know how long it will take to actually get in stores.

Good games in Australia makes people strangle their pet kangaroos in euphoria. Serious stuff and a health hazard.

Yap. Moving to US. To Florida, to live with MagNuS and his cat. I'm bringing my PS3 and we will play Bad Company and Buzz together ALL day long. I will buy Vampyre Story. It will be glorious.
