I just sold my 9700 pro right now cause i got offered more than i paid for it and im using my old 8500LE at the moment (still not that bad of a card) but i was thinking of getting maybe a 5600 ultra but im not sure if its even worth it. I would definatly get a new revision one but i have heard lots of confusing things around whether the card is even worth it (drivers, relation to 9600 pro etc...) Should i wait for a new card to come out? 300 (about 400 cdn) bucks is my absolute top amount i want to spend. Better time to wait or to get a new card?

If u got payed more for ur 9700 Pro than you payed for it then id get another 1, but if u wanna save money then yea get a 5600 Ultra or if it was me,(not trusting nvidia at the mo) id get a ati 9500 Pro

you've already had a 9700Pro, so you can't downgrade to 5600Ultra you would notice a difference right away. Were you happy with the 9700Pro? If so, then I recommend you buy a 9700 non-pro for about $214us, prices from http://www.pricewatch.com . 9700 non-pro can easily overclock to 9700Pro levels, and this way you'll still profit. If you want something better than 9700Pro, your only current choices are 9800Pro or GFFX 5900.

Not true. You can't get a 5900 yet ;)

If you get anything less than the new generation after having a beast like the 9700pro you will be dissapoined.
