Legend was great, first tomb raider in a long time where the game captured the classics. I never played Anniversary. Underworld just..seems like a step down...i REALLY hope that this is just how the demo is, i am not even sure why they would not include everything in the demo, ie high res textures, after all they do want people to go buy this...atm the game leaves a bad taste..the camera controls are a real headache tho...I will be waiting for a few reviews before getting this game...and as for the ATi drivers...well right now...i wouldn't even care if they drop all driver support on this game -.-...it runs blazing fast as it is...and right now the only thing left is for the developer to add some better effects to the game so it can give a work out for my 4870 -.-

Underworld needs more than what it has with ATI right now. On both a single X2 and in CrossfireX, at 1920x and only 4xAA, it drops to 42fps in some places when you're overlooking the water.

That's crazy for that kind of money invested in graphics cards. On my 260 it stays at 50+fps all the time. I also got some squiggly lines in the middle of the screen w/ the ATI drivers that aren't there w/ Nvidia.

To each his own. I think the game looks great, myself.. better than Legend did. You did not see that kind of water on Legend, nor did you see the abundance of vegetation everywhere like Underworld has. And I don't think the textures look bad at all. They're not Crysis quality, but then what is?

:(

Welp, I'll probably pick up an ASUS P5K Dlx for my E6600 then, only run a single 2GB 4850, and I'll run the Q6600 in the BadAxe mobo with dual 1GB 4870s.

What about a 4850X2 for your E6600/P35 system?
