These drivers make the clocks drop really low for no reason at all in the middle of playing WoW. I didn't try any other games. I switched back to the 178s.
Then I'll pass. Seems like the downclocking issue is back... Another user reported the drivers don't clock up the card when opening IE... More than likely...

No downclocking issues here. Only time the clocks are low is when they should be - at desktop with non-3D apps open.

So this driver is meant for FC2 but can't play FC2? LOL? Can anyone confirm?

It's a SLI thing mainly. Never had it with one card, it only took 1 minute with two...

A possible workaround for the startup issue was posted here (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1817144&postcount=39).
I've found a fix for Far Cry 2 with these drivers just right click the FarCry2.exe and 'Disable Desktop Composition'
works wonders!

178.24 works perfect with SLI. I would skip these betas.

I can't get these to install. Everytime I run the setup it unzips the driver files and then starts the Fraps setup (wtf). The nVidia setup never starts. Anybody else seeing this?

I guess the 180.xx gave me BSOD, I did return to latest WHQL one

Yep these drivers are unstable... something I was doing involved putting UT3 into window mode... with 180.42 when loading UT3 in Windowed, it would freeze the system and then restart the comp 5secs later.
Blu-ray playback is also borked with 180.42, PowerDVD will randomly crash during any movie. Also while trying a tweak to get PowerDVD to work without going into Vista Basic mode, doing that was causing the same freezing then restarting that UT3 in Windowed was having.
After reverting back to 178.24, all problems gone. I hope Nvidia make their next 180.xx release more reliable than 180.42, because the actual performance of the driver is a bit better than 178.24. Stability always comes first though.
Also not getting on so well with the 180.42, getting no SLi scaling in FarCry 2 (single GPU giving better FPS) and the odd lock up.
