I have a strange problem which I cannot seem to resolve in all of my games.
I am using forceware driver 180.43 and nforce 15.23 both for vista x64
When I set my mode to 16xCSAA or 16xQ combined and 16X AF and enhance instead of override I don't have any movement lag issues when zooming in within various games.
My understanding that enhanced still uses the ingame default AA then enhances it.
When I set my mode to 16xCSAA or 16xQ combined and 16X AF and override instead of enhanced I have various mouse movement lag issues when zooming in within various games.
My understanding is over-ride ignores the ingame AA mode and tells it to use nvidia anti-aliasing. Which is what I want
Its fine when I am scanning or moving without zooming in, but as soon as I do. I have major mouse movement lag. I don't see why 16xCSAA and 16xQ works fine under enhanced, but not over-ride mode.
its still the same number of pixels and shaders being drawn.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue with major lag when you look thru a scope or down a weapon sight? I don't want the junk made ingame AA that shows tons of jaggies. yuck!
Since this is a driver issue rather than a hardware issue I thought I would post it here.
All help with me being able to use over-ride with great image quality on AA and AF is appreciated.
