This is just totally ridiculous if true:http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10222&Itemid=1 Granted its from FUD but damn this SUX for us nvidia users if true!!!

WTH? Now the real question is, is this really significant? Like to see some testing with and without prefetch. Maybe Nvidia decided the performance increase is not significant or is limited to certain scenarios. Wait a minute, this says pci bus, not pci x bus, so for the most part who cares unless you are using pci alot.

I really dont know what bus it is talking about or if it includes the pci xpress bus. Eventhough a card is not installed in a slot the motherboard still uses the pci bus for ethernet and sata/hdd. more info here:http://www.dvhardware.net/article30967.html Apparently its been disabled in bioses since 2007 so I dont know why this is NEWS now???

Heh, once again FUD being themselves. Guess next time they should do a little research before they write stuff.

The sort of things Americans allow to be patented are ludicrous.

Standing in line.. Who owns that?

I'm going to take out patents on "taking a leak" and "watching Shawshank Redemption on a Saturday night." That should teach those film boffs and I can earn some royalties from every toilet on the planet.
