I've seen a few reviews of Geil's PC-3500 memory at a few sponsored websites....I was just wondering if anyone has used this and if so, what did they think?

I was talking to Neil over at www.envynews.com about what RAM to get, and he warned me to stay away from GeiL...

Your best bet would probably be to stick with Crucial. You can never go wrong with Crucial. :)

I'm looking for some insane FSB memory....Thus far, I seem to have things narrowed down to Crucial XMS and Geil. I used to like OCZ, however I have had VERY inconsistent results from their memory. One stick is amazing, and the next stick is a dud....

Crucial rocks for stability, but they are slow to make the fastest chips because they like to do thuro testing. But if you need the performance now, then get Corsair. Nearly as good as Crucial, but with ram speeds of pc3200 and up ;)

Anyone seen this? (http://www.coolerguys.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=001&Category_Code=MEM-XTR)

It says they are single sided.... Single sided memory almost always overclocks higher than double sided. Oh... Samsung chips too.

Pelly, I found a review on the Geil 3500 DDR

Thanks Gator,

I read that this morning...they seem to have had good luck....Although I also saw a review which raved about the CAS2 Corsair XMS PC-3200 sticks...

yeah, I posted both over at Envy this morning...
I think if I had to choose between GeiL 3500, or Corsair 3200, it would be the Corsair 3200...
