20 to 60 FPS in what?

Did you install Cat 3.4?

Did you remove the old GF3 drivers?

You shouldn't be COMPLETELY CPU limited, but you're probably close.

Quite possibly. And your memory usage seems pretty high, you might want to check to see if you have too much crap running.

yea your memory usage is pretty high... what resolution are you running raven shield at??? raven shield's fps are VERY jumpy... i have the same jumpy fps that you do... from 20fps to 60... etc.

Oh my, Anti-Virus'es take up soo much resources. I was on a friends computer who had one installed factory from dell, the %$$#$# thing would start everytime he ran a program. It would also randomly pop up takeing all of the focus saying 'virus found, this program cannot remove it' lol! I just reformtted it....

Id disable it, check the control panel just take a good lookaround make sure everyting looks in place.

Then maybe run a benchmark like 3dmark03 and compare it to other silimar systems. If your score is unusually low then id consider reformatting your computer.

ARGH. Just play Splinter Cell for a while. If it's not fast enough, consider reformatting.

Cant believe i have to buy a new system. you would think 1465 could handle it..what do you think about a Tyan S2668AN - Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz 533Mhz Xeon CPU ? cheapest i can find is 739 on price watch.

or i could get the ATHLON XP 2800 and save a bundle think i would have to get new memory too?

Unless you're running an e-mail server, there is absolutely no reason to buy a Xeon. Get a Barton 2800+ Athlon or a 2.66 GHz P4 (both are about the same price) and an nForce2 or Canterwood motherboard.

But before you run out and buy a whole bunch of stuff, try some other games first. If RS is the only one you're having problems with, odds are it's the game's fault and not anything else in your system.

Isn't Raven Shield Vsync locked unless you tweak it? http://www.ping*****.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1578 ***** rhymes with door.

Hope that helps.
