ah, im trying to get battlefield to run its best AND look as good as it can. what settings should i run it on? does anyone know any good tweaks or somethin for the game?

i've got a:

AMD XP2400+
512DDR 2700 RAAAAM
Mercury GF4TI4200 128
um..what else...a motherboard that cost me $180 (nice one too!)
and a hard drive that spins around in circles making a buzzing noise. to my ear, it sounds like its goin about 7400 times a minute. the "my computer" is tellin me its got 80 gig on it.

oh yeah, and what the hell is an nv35?

When I had my 4200 I played it in 800x600, 2X AA, 2X AF. Anything more and the frame rate started to be noticable.

Or 10x7, noAA, 2xaf...

12x10@ perf. settings with low mip-map detail, no AA, no AF, no tex. shapening might work too... Haven't messed with BF on a ti4200 since like 41.09 tho...

1600x1200 + 2x aniso + TS and everything up in game settings, that was untill I've d/l wake evenings, things get pretty hot on that map + distance view is increased dramaticaly. so I'm playing on 1200x1024 now on my Ti4600(o/c). :)
