It's pretty bad. The graphics are unimpressive (lots of pop-up, low res textures, no DX8 features I could see), the weapons are uninspired, and the movement and feel of the game is completely off. Walking bobs your character all over the screen to the point of nausea. This is quite a disappointment.

...I kinda like it... some of the fire effects KILL my 5200 and my GF2ti... here's a shot on my GF2ti on my tv, 8x6, 2xaa, 2xaf, tex sharpen on, all nvidia options on highest quality, will rock options all set on highest EXCEPT bump mapping brought from advanced to regular...

O damn that headbob gave me a rocking headache.

The AI sucks my buttocks, one of my team walked into the water, stayed there and died!

graphics weren't too bad, but the feel of the game was just off, and it was very hard to play. Can climbing a ladder take MORE time!?

This singleplayer demo is pretty poor, but maybe Breed will be like Tribes 2, ie. the singleplayer is no good but the multiplayer is much better.

I didn't think the game looked completely crap, but i didn't even land the craft before the game blue screen crashed WinXP. Anyone else get this kind of instability?

Twice.

So I fired up Will Rocks... and after a few minutes, THAT crashed! So I went from the 30.82s to the 43.45 Detonators, and took my A7N8X Deluxe Bios from 1001C to 1004. That fixed both of them.

Breed demo hasn't crashed once for me, I got up to the bit where you drive the plasma tank round. The AI is crap, I left my tank and switched to another guy, and the AI tried to drive the tank over a ravine towards me, which blew the tank up and they fell out. It's also very hard to spot the Breed, unless they are pretty close, but the AI helps out here cos they are pretty crap and miss you a lot (except the fortified guys with the plasma machine guns)

I'm hoping this is a beta, which may fix some things but I doubt they will fix things like Breed visibility. It's not great, but I don't think its really crap altogether.

I had the blue screen and the message said paged in non paged area or something like that, i checked marked tripple buffer in the setup and no crashes, so try it out.

I didn't think the game was so so bad. I was extremely disappointed in the AI. Sneaking around with the sniper would have been cool except the bad guys only show up when you pass certain spots on the map and that was a big turn off. Worst of all was the over-exaggerated view bob. :barf:

The bluescreens are really what uninstalled the game for me though...

Ok, so it sounds like the game may be the cause of blue screen crash, or else my very stable system decided to destablize itself.

I played again, but died before finishing the demo and havn't tried again. I thought the game had a lot of potential and I can see where the comparison to Halo comes from. The view bob made my head ache and the movement felt sluggish. With obvious problems like that, why not just sell the game with a hammer to belt yourself about the head with, for an authentic injured feel.
