Here are the results from the first set of tests I ran on my RAID 0 array. On par with the Maxtor array. It will probably take a bus upgrade to see anything better at which point I imagine the Cheetah array should pull away a bit. 32bit PCI is starting to suck wind...

Kinda makes me harken back to the old days when we had 16bit, 8MHz ISA. Time marches on...

BTW: i'm doing a software raid on my two IDE 40GB Drives, what do you reccomend for the stripe size, 64k?

I am by no means an expert on this but I'd suggest 64K. Seems to be the defacto standard from what I can tell over on asusboards/abxzone.
