hmm... you obviously don't have any inkling as to what went on so let me fill you in :)

this lad came online last night/early morning and was purposely trolling and flaming numerous peoples on this board... mainly digi and stealth-hawk...

he was using obscene language and was not exactly treating ANYONE with any respect whatsoever...

he did not post 2 or 3 posts... he had at least 10 when I logged off and every single one of them was obscene and clearly against many elements of this forums guidelines... the very FACT that only a couple of posts survives @ this time should tell you that perhaps his posts content was not quite what it should have been..

other than that he was following digi around :) he apparently followed him around on rage3d where he was also banned AFAIK because I happened to have a read of some of his posts there... further he decided to get into it with stealthawk... whom we all know is a super mod... there is no place on boards for blatant disrespect for mods/super mods especially when all they are doing is asking you to stay within guidelines...

on a side note :

as I have mentioned in previous posts bu... I do not like being patronized by you and I do not think all your posts are in fun either... despite the smiley's you decide to add to them...

perhaps after learning a bit more about the lad you are championing and forming your opinions of me on.. it may appear that I am not the one who is in need of growing up here...

if you are not aware of what was going on... that is well and good... if you do not know about something it may be better for you not to comment on it...

it is not my duty to police these forums...

I do not dislike people based on their posts purely... it is more of an attitude thing...

I am not an extremist and have no problem with the current direction Likud is going with this. I think the offer we made to Arafat in the '90s wherein we offerd 98% of all lands to be returned, retaining only 4-5 strategic high points overlooking The Golan, was a fair and fine offer. This was rejected at the time by Arafat, but I think it as much as we can safely relinquish. Never again should we be suprised by the Syrians massing or placing mortars in range of Israeli citizens. As far as the settlements, I say no problem, lets keep the people as seperate as possible. I just wish the lands were contiguous, as having to have a corridor of some sort right throught the middle of Israel presents a real security risk.

Am I deluded into thinking that the formation of a Palestinian state will bring regional acceptance of Israel as a nation? No. We shall simply take the high road throughout all of this and when we are attacked again(which we certainly will be) it will be time for the Israeli People to once again show their resolve.

It does not appear that you are mistaken. Keep in mind however that the resolution passed by only a 12-7 margin, so there are many that are more hardlined in the cabinet.

My reservations (as well as many others), remain. sharon is famous for saying many things and doing absolutely nothing.

That 12-7 margin indicates far too many israeli don't want peace either. As such the likelyhood of sabotage is quite high, by both sides.

I will say this, the formation of a Palestinian state will give israel a lot higher standing than it currently has. Only the US can truely say it likes israel (I still have no idea why), the EU only tolerates them.
