I have not seen a after market cooler for thr GTX 200 yet,but I am sure someone will make one.I have seen a preview of Thermalright HR-03 GTX that is suppose to fit a GTX 260 or GTX 280 comeing out.IT will cost around $60 and it does not come with a fan.

If it is like the other aftermarket coolers ,It should do a good job.I just hope it does'nt take up no more room then two slots like the one that comes with it. Looks like it will cost $60 plus the cost of a 120mm x 25mm fan.

For the GTX280/260 I think if you want something significantly better than stock you have to go water cooling. I don't think it is wise to have any solution that does not vent air out of the case considering how much heat these cards generate.

well the stock cooler isn't BAD at all...problem is it relies on a tiny fan to dissipitate the heat, and if you crank that bad boy up it's loud...but keeps both my 280s idling in the 40s and max in the mid-high 60s

i wish it was a larger, slower spinning fan with higher CFMs...both the noise and the temperature would be way down then i bet
