PowerColor Radeon 4870 1GB vs. EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 SuperClocked (http://www.nvnews.net/articles/holiday_2008_top_games_tested/index.shtml)

Very nice review Mike. That 216 looks pretty sweet.

Besides the already linked DH review, Firingsquad have one up-

Again, I'd get the GTX 260 192 or 216SP and run it @ 660-700 on the core. You'll also get the added benefit of GPU PhysX in upcoming titles.

Just ordered an EVGA 260 216 with FarCry2 for $239 with free shipping. I just couldn't pass this up. Almost went ATI but looks like Nvidia in the end won out. My wife won't be too happy once she finds out ;).

Many thanks all for your replies and I have taken your excellent advice and bought the XFX GTX 260 (216) Black Edition. That should tide me over till Direct X 11!

I will forever buy Nvidia mid/ high range cards from this day forth! :captnkill:

No more stuttering, just lovely smooth PC gaming goodness!!

Thanks to you all my Nvidia brethren!! :)
